A Walk on Doha's Corniche
Every Friday morning (weekends in Qatar are on Friday and Saturday), I'd walk 3 miles down the Corniche, Doha's waterfront. My destination was "Del's Beach," one of the only patches of sand on the entire Corniche, where I'd take off my shoes -- even in December! -- and wade in the Persian Gulf.
