router rip version 2 configuration (Bangla) with shortcut techniques\Router RIP version 2 configuration in Bangla using cisco packet tracer\Computer Network.

In this video tutorial i have tried to explain RIP Version 2 configuration. I also show some tips and tricks for making this configuration in a very short time using cisco packet tracer. I hope this will help you during your examination time. So If you like this video then please give me a thumbs up and share this video and also don't forget to hit the subscribe button. Because in this channel you will get more tutorials with short cut techniques which will help you in your examination and also feel free to comment below because any kind of suggestion will help me to do my next video better. Thanks for watching.

What is RIP version :

The Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is one of the oldest distance-vector routing protocols which employ the hop count as a routing metric. RIP prevents routing loops by implementing a limit on the number of hops allowed in a path from source to destination.

What is the RIP version 2 :

Routing Information Protocol Version 2. Both versions of RIP, RIPv1 and RIPv2, are Distance Vector Routing Protocols that use router hop counts as their metrics. They support a maximum hop count value of 15. Any router farther than 15 hops away is considered to be unreachable.

What is rip in CCNA :

Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is a distance-vector routing protocol. RIP sends the complete routing table out to all active interfaces every 30 seconds. RIP only uses hop count (the number of routers) to determine the best way to a remote network.

How does RIP work :

What is a Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and how does it work with my managed switch? Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is a protocol that routers can use to exchange network topology information. It is characterized as an interior gateway protocol, and is typically used in small to medium-sized networks.

What is the RIP protocol :

Routing Information Protocol (RIP) is a dynamic protocol used to find the best route or path from end-to-end (source to destination) over a network by using a routing metric/hop count algorithm.

Why do we use RIP :

RIP uses a modified hop count as a way to determine network distance. (Modified reflects the fact that network engineers can assign paths a higher cost.) ... Other routing protocols push less information of their own onto the network, while RIP pushes its whole routing table every 30 seconds

What are the timers in RIP :

RIP uses several timers to regulate its operation. The update interval is the interval at which routes that are learned by RIP are advertised to neighbors. This timer controls the interval between routing updates.

Advantages :

1.It's a standardized protocol.
2.It's VLSM compliant
3.Provides fast convergence, and sends triggered updates when the network changes
4.Works with snapshot routing - making it ideal for dial networks.

Disadvantages :

1.Max hop count of 15, due to the 'count-to-infinity' vulnerability
2.No concept of neighbors
3.Exchanges entire table with all neighbors every 30 seconds (except in the case of a triggered update)
