In this video, we learn how to automatically crop images to the largest face detected in the image, using R. This is done by using a Python package called "autocrop", which we access using the reticulate package in R.
Some example use cases include: batch image processing for ID cards, model training, or for producing generative AI images (e.g., "AI headshots").
