My Iraq Diorama scale 1/35 OIF USF-I QRF IVO Mosul, Iraq 2007
This is a scale 1/35 diorama of an Iraq theme project reflecting urban battle damaged areas (IVO) Mosul, Iraq during the 2007 time period. My project is currently (June 2016) at a 40% completion stage which represents about 3 years worth of work on this project at an average of 10 hours per week give or take... I estimate this project to be at least a 5 to 6 year long task based off life challenges which prevent ongoing progress. This is my first attempt at building any models at this scale and size. The diorama size is 80" wide X 16" deep and the completed project will be displayed at my home US ARMY reserve unit located in Miami, Fl. The project is dedicated to all my brothers and sisters whom I served with over the course of 10 years and a remembrance project from our prior downrange deployments to the Middle East.
