Why People Prefer Turn-Based To RTWP In CRPGs...

For better or worse turn-based appears to be more appealing to most people than RTWP when it comes to CRPGs and we might be at the end of an era inasmuch as no such CRPGs are made anymore but the real question is why? Why do people prefer turn-based over the older RTWP?
