BB Chevy 454 stroked to 525 cubes - super big torque!
In this, episode 65 of PowerTec 10, DV, along with Terry Walters and Jack Sain do a basic 454 big block Chevy build and then stretch it to 525 with the aid of a 4.5 inch stroker crank. While doing so tests of Trick Flow 280 and 320 heads are evaluated. The final result was a pump gas street driver that would idle at just less than 500 rpm and crank out nearly 800 hp and 729 lbs-ft of torque.
