Lectron Tesla to J1772 EV Charging Adapter Review - The Inexpensive Option with Extra Steps 🤔
Review of the Lectron Tesla to J1772 EV charging adapter that lets you charge your non-Tesla EV at Tesla charging stations, like Tesla Destination EV Chargers you might find at hotels and shopping centers. While the Lectron Tesla to J1772 EV charging adapter works, it does require extra steps with E-GMP vehicles like my Kia EV6, the Hyundai Ioniq 5, and Genesis GV60. This makes is less than ideal, especially if you plan to utilize Tesla charging stations fairly often. However, if you won't be charging your non-Tesla EV at Tesla charging stations often, it is a less expensive alternative to the Tesla Tap Mini 60 I reviewed previously that simply works.
