Testing a first prototype of stage 3 "the arrow".
This is the top part of the tower, made very narrow for stability reasons.
It has to fit on top of stage 2 (a colosseum), so the base is a disk with no support in the middle. This stage has to at least partially collapse vertically on itself to trigger the levers between stage 1 and stage 2, after falling though the empty middle part of stage 2 to trigger the overall collapse.
Here we are testing stage 3 stand alone, sitting on the ground instead of stage 2.
As we have bow validated the designs of all stages (1, 2 and 3) of the tower, the next step is to build a full stack of all 3 stages but at a reduced height of 12 meters, prior to the 30m final record.
