Optical Sorter Mechanical – Marcelissen
This video shows the Optical Sorter Mechanical – SOM. The Mechanical Optical Sorting machine is specially developed for the optical grading of peeled and unpeeled potatoes on defects, colour, size, shape and waste. The potatoes are transported throughout the machine via a roller belt.
An innovative aspect of our Optical Sorter is the fact that it pushes out both good and bad products and allows products that needs to be peeled again to flow straight through.
Up to 108.000 potatoes per hour can be sorted by the machine. This assumes 15 cups/sec and a filling rate of 100%.
