This Nine foot wide awning is mounted on the wall over a deck that projects 14 feet from the same wall. In order to achieve shade to the full deck, a crossover style awning is used. The arms are mounted one above the other with specialized hardware. With this setup, the arms are able to "cross over" each other, thereby allowing the arms to be longer, and thus project to the end of the deck.
