"Mitten" bandage (returning hand bandage).
Indications for this bandage include wounds and frostbite of the hands, and burns of the fingers.
Typically, when applying the "Mitten" bandage, bandage all four fingers together first, then the thumb separately.
Note: For bandaging, use a 7-10 cm wide bandage. When applying this bandage, it is also recommended to place sterile napkins or cotton-gauze pads between the fingers to prevent diaper rash or maceration, especially in hot weather.
