9 Tips to Start Music & Break Creative Blocks
In this video I’m sharing some lessons and perspectives I’ve learned over the years about creativity, growing as a composer, getting started on new projects, and working through creative blocks. I break down 9 simple but helpful tips I use regularly in my own creative practice to help me generate new ideas and inspiration, and to help me get back on track when things get challenging.
Of course, creativity is a very personal and subjective topic, so remember that what works for me might not always work for you! My intention in this video is to share a different perspective on what making music can look like, and to share some ideas that have been really helpful for me and my students, and ultimately to encourage you to find YOUR own way.
