How to make control circuit of Direct On Line (DOL) starter
DOL starter is most basic starter used to start motor at full rated voltage. It is used for small power motors where inrush current at starting is not very high to damage its windings. Generally used for motors below 10 HP ratings.
Power diagram is rather very simple. As soon as contactor energizes, motor gets connected to full rated voltage and motor starts.
