Argentina, Buenos Aires. First video
Hello everyone, friends! I've finally made it to Argentina. Buenos Aires. I'll show you what the city looks like... at night, during the day, from the bus, and so on...
Why Argentina!? - you might ask - I give some of the answers in the video about Brazil (the story of my trip). I'll reveal some of the answers here.
While in India, I realized that India, despite its advantages (excellent climate, ocean, friendly people, culture, and history), also has disadvantages. The main ones are the inability to become a citizen there. It's difficult for foreigners to work there, although it's possible. At some point, indelible thoughts about Latin America began to creep in. Which country should I choose? Chile: there's an ocean, but it's always cold, since Antarctica is nearby and its currents make swimming possible for walruses. Maybe Brazil?
Brazil scared me at first. Do you know how Latin Americans are afraid of Russians? They'll tell you so many stories - so many stories. All this divides us. So many myths are created. So, Argentina – Buenos Aires! The most European city of all, safe by Latin American standards (even expats living there from other countries will tell you this)... In short, you have to see it with your own eyes, maybe it's mine (or yours)...
Now, as I write these words in May 2026 (I can't believe it myself – it's already 2026), there's a new president, Miley (I lived there when he became president)... Argentina has become one of the most expensive countries in Latin America. The government is changing the rules for migrants.
When I was there with dollars in 2023, the exchange rate changed from 350 pesos to the dollar to 1,000 pesos to the dollar (even though you pay rent in dollars), you become a little richer and can afford an extra trip to a cafe!
