It is measured in units such as pascals (Pa), atmospheres (atm), or inches of mercury (inHg).Changes in atmospheric pressure can affect the human body, such as causing discomfort in the ears or sinuses during airplane flights.
At high altitudes, lower atmospheric pressure means less oxygen is available, which can lead to altitude sickness.
