Access Google Maps in Apps Script - Introduction | Maps Service ~ Episode 14.0
Hey Coders! It seems like every day we are on Google Maps, finding directions here, exploring attractions there, and figuring out when you need to wake up in the morning to make it to your long distant nephew's 3rd birthday party on time. Wouldn't it be great to automate much of that work with Apps Script? You can! With the Maps Service, you can create images of maps complete with directions, elevation, and markers, just as you would in the Google Maps UI. Watch this video to get an introduction to the service (and also a special announcement at the beginning of the video! :)
