What happens when the answer has been in front of you the whole time, but you never stopped to read the instructions?
In this Kingdom Alliance Ministries teaching, PG & PS use a real-life leaking bathtub problem to expose a much deeper spiritual issue: how often we try to fix our lives using our own understanding, memory, outside advice, or what somebody else says God told them, while overlooking the instruction God already gave us in His Word.
The Bible is not just something we quote when we need encouragement. It is instruction for how we live, how we discern, how we make decisions, how we walk in authority, and how we recognize what is truly from God.
In this teaching, we deal with:
Leaning on your own understanding instead of seeking God
Going to everybody else before going to the Source
Why spiritual-sounding advice still has to be tested
The danger of letting another person become your “manual”
Ignoring small warning signs until the damage becomes greater
How one missing instruction can affect the entire outcome
The difference between wise counsel and replacing God with people
Developing your own relationship with God through His Word
Humility, repentance, discernment, and obedience
One of the strongest warnings in this teaching is that we cannot simply accept something because it sounds spiritual or because it came from someone we trust. Everything has to be tested and measured against the Word of God.
