This new LIGHTING mod is insane!
A new mod, IRLights by @qualet, for colored lights and shadows is now available for download! It's in open beta testing, so mind there could be some bugs, but my experience was way smoother in comparison to what was with BetterLights.
This video shows how to configure everything, and how to use IRLights with BBS FS mod or standalone.
One thing I forgot to explain: patching shaders is necessary, because the mod sends extra data to the shader pack, which requires its own code to run to create colored lights. Without patching, shaders won't display the lights at all.
