A beautiful 4.1kg Southern Rock Lobster (Crayfish) I recently caught in a deep cave while freediving in South Australia! Took me a lot longer to get out than I'd planned, but we got there in the end 🦞
A few things I’m conscious about when diving in caves. I always make sure I have a buddy watching me who also has the diving capability to pull me out on the case that I do get stuck or disoriented. I also try my best to not push my breath hold and always give myself ample bottom time to exit the cave as there’s always the risk that you could get caught on the way out so it’s best to make sure you have enough air to exit safely. Lastly, NO CRAYFISH IS WORTH YOUR LIFE 💀
