Camtasia has a clean interface without a lot of confusing buttons or editing options the average person doesn't need.
And although anyone who has heard of Camtasia likely thinks of it as a video editor and screen recorder (both of which it does very well), it is also an incredible tool for audio editing.
In this Camtasia audio editing tutorial I show you the different basic functions of Camtasia, and I demonstrate how to import an audio file using an old recorded podcast.
I then show you how to add intro and outro music along with some fading effects before you export the file in mp3 format.
If you're going to learn basic audio editing (and perhaps video editing at some point), and you've got a small budget for some good software, you'll see why Camtasia could be well worth a try for you.
