Beginner Overview of the DJI RC N1 (DJI Mini 2 controller)
Detailed Overview Video Link:    • Detailed Overview of the DJI MINI 2, DJI R...

The Model DJI RC-N1 is the model as listed by DJI but if you are able to see it on the back it may actually say DJI-RC231. This is the same controller. There was an older version that came with the Mavic Air 2 that had some minor differences, such as that had tripod mode rather than CINE mode as mine says and the indicator lights on the controller were white instead of Green. I do not believe that this is an upgrade Just a rework of the previous controller, however, it seems that this controller can be used with multiple DJI drones at the same time. All the functions should be pretty much the same.

DJI RC-N1 is the current standard controller for most of DJI consumer drones!
The current models this controller work with:
a. DJI Mini 2/ DJI Mavic Air 2: O2
b. DJI Air 2S: O3
c. DJI Mavic 3: O3+
This controller uses DJI Ocusync 2.0 which is a very reliable radio connection to your drone but also works with Drones that I listed that have Ocusync 03

OCUSYNC 2.0 specs:
Transmission Range 6 miles
Video Quality of up to 720p from the aircraft to your connected mobile device
Works on 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz
Switches between channels to maintain the best signal.

My recommendations for setup of the DJI RC-N1:
I recommend that you change your Cine /Tripod mode settings to less sensitivity to make it easier to get slow-moving video without the drone jerking and messing up your video. I leave have chosen to leave my Normal and sport settings default. My settings may not be best for the way you like to fly and capture video so I would just go out to an open field, practice some smooth shots and make adjustments until you are happy with the result.
