It is expected that the exam conducting authority will release the GATE score card in the last week of March, 2020. Only candidates who qualify for the exam will be allowed to download their score card. It is to note here that the GATE 2020 score will be valid for three years from the date of declaration of GATE result 2020.
GATE or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an online national level examination conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions. The exam is jointly conducted by IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee and Indian Institute for Science, Bangalore (IISC Bangalore), on a rotational basis. Visit the official website and click on the result link (the link will be updated here immediately after the announcement of the GATE 2020 result).
Enter the required details: GATE Enrollment ID/Email Address/Registration ID and password.
After logging in, click on the result tab. It will be displayed on the screen.

GATE 2020 score card
Qualified candidates can download the GATE score card tentatively in the last week of March, 2020. Candidates must preserve the scorecard as it is the only document that provides the qualification status of them. Another important thing is that the GATE score card 2020 will be released only to candidates who will qualify the exam means has scored equal to or more than the GATE 2020 cutoff. The candidates are advised to preserve the scorecard of GATE 2020 for future reference as its validity for MTech admissions is of three years from the date of result declaration. Candidates must keep in mind that the GATE score will have a validity of only one year for PSU recruitments. The following are the steps to download the GATE 2020 scorecard.
Steps to download GATE 2020 scorecard
Step-1: Visit the official website (the link will be updated here)
Step-2: Log in to the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System) by entering an email ID/enrolment number and password website to download the GATE 2020 scorecard.
Step-3: After logging in click on the ‘scorecard’ tab to download the same in PDF format.
Step-4: Take a print out of the same for future reference
