This is a tutorial demonstrating how you can use the Pro 2 synthesizer as an effects box for processing external sounds. I'm using the Korg Volca Bass as an example sound source here. The Pro 2 has an audio input jack on the back where you can plug in any audio source. Then you can bring up the volume of the external input in the oscillator section. Finally you must gate the sound in order to hear it and you can do this either via playing notes on the keyboard of by playing the sequencer. Once you have that setup you can start using various different sound processing tools like the filter, distortion, hack, decimator, drive and the 4 delay lines. On top of all that you can utilize the various different modulation options of the Pro 2 to further shape the sounds. The Pro 2 is a very powerful unit as an effects processor.
