The aging process is a multidimensional, complex phenomenon that can be defined in various ways, depending on the scientific perspective. From a biological perspective, aging is a natural process of progressive loss of the body's physiological ability to maintain homeostasis and resistance to stress. During the aging process, our body moves away from homeostasis, which directly leads to a decline in natural adaptive abilities, ultimately causing us to become ill and increasingly weaker. This results from the fact that every organism is subjected to a continuous increase in entropy over time. Aging can therefore be understood as the inability to maintain stability in the face of increasing chaos. Aging processes occur at the molecular, cellular, tissue, and organ levels, and their severity and course are individual, depending on lifestyle, the environment in which we live, and the individual genetic predispositions of each person.
