10 Things you should know before using Firebase for your next Website/App Project
Firebase is getting popularity very quickly. It is because a vast support for multiple languages and frameworks.
Whether it is mobile app or website, firebase provide client library and easy documentation for all of them which makes developer life a lot easy.
Such easy onboarding process and tons of tutorials attract a lot of new developers and people who just started in development.
But nothing is perfect in this world and firebase is no exception, this is why I am making this video to share 10 things which you should know before you use it for your next big project.
1. Because firebase works on client end, in case of any bug or code error, you might have to push new update to fix it.
2. Firebase is free initially but never use free plan for your production project. Always keep it in blaze plan and set project budget alert to keep track of your spending
3. Firebase now deprecating Nodejs 8 and recommending to use Node 10. Which means you cannot use Firebase Functions in future without a paid plan, so plan your project accordingly.
4. Firebase Projects doesn’t share the quota, each project has its own quota and billing.
5. You cannot have more than 5 active paid projects in firebase.
6. Use any tools which you actually need. Firebase has a ton of offering but some of them are either in alpha phase or beta. Never use any under development feature in your production app as it may cause issues on client end.

8. You should have Analytics and grow integrated from day one so that you can study your users and improve your product.
9. Data modelling is very important when it comes to Firebase, To reduce the billing and make a very optimized product, spend time while modelling your data.
Firebase Billing might give you pain, Firebase doesn’t support debit card or any other payment method at the time of making this video so you are stucked with a credit card which supports recurring payment so please make sure you have it before you start your dream project with it.
