What's Going On With Persona 6?
Hey everyone! Today I'm gonna be talking a bit about what MIGHT be going on with Persona 6.
It's been almost 7 years since the original game came out on PS3 and PS4. Now we've moved into a new console generation and Persona 6 is still nowhere to be found.
So where is it?
Truthfully, I don't know, but I think there are a lot of reasons as to why this game is taking so much time for us to even see.
I think a lot of it stems from the simple truth that game development is just kind of unpredictable. You can set deadlines and goals but from my limited knowledge as a consumer, not a developer, making games is not a simple process.
So much goes into video games now, that you cannot even say that because X took 4 years that X2 will take 3 years. Technology is advancing so quickly that I'm sure that somewhere out there a company started working on a game today and we won't see it for the next 6 years.
The other things that factor into this that are kind of unique to Persona are the potential multiplatform launch and a simultaneous worldwide release. With the amount of text in this game, it's kind of impossible to say how long it would take to fully translate another Persona title.
Anyways, I'm as eager as anyone to see the next mainline Persona game, but I also just want them to take their time with it.
