This lecture is about the principles of typography applied in communication design. Typography is a long set of laws, rules, and prohibitions when working with text. This set grows exponentially due to the fact that there is no single typography. There are many typographies. There is classical typography, with its own rules, modernist typography, postmodern typography, and marginal typography. Naturally, when a designer has the skills to use the entire palette of stylistic expressive means, they significantly increase their competitiveness in the design market.
All of these systems are still quite functional, and we refer to one-half or one-third based on the objectives of our design project. For more details, watch and listen to the lecture.
