Plug charge port in without battery
Connect charger
Measure battery voltage
If reading is 0.7v almost always USB ic issue
Replace Hydra and retest
Normal 3.5-3.8v at battery connector

*The Hydra ic was changed, the pads were just flattened before solderingng to board. This was done only because the solder balls left on the board from original chip were even sized.
