MA Industrial Design x Google
In Collaboration with our Neighbours at Google and the King's Cross community, MA Industrial Design participated in the London Festival of Architecture - a celebration of architecture and city-making. We challenged students to create installations that responded to the bold ambition of Google’s new building at King’s Cross – including the many subtle and surprising engineering features that have been cleverly integrated to create a space that fosters innovation, connection, and sustainability.
The results, collectively entitled 'With Wide-Eyed Wonder were displayed across the King's Boulevard, running the length of the building. The installations invited passers-by to interact with the installations, ask questions and start conversations about innovation in the building and how it will act in the broader context when it opens—a place for work, socialising, education, engagement and participation.
