Life Path Number 5# Karmic Numerology#
The first numerological indicator we'll begin with is the Life Path Number, which we'll abbreviate as the LPI.
The LPI is a kind of psychological portrait of a person. It reflects a combination of their personality traits, strengths and weaknesses, interests, and predisposition to certain activities. This is a very important indicator, but we shouldn't draw conclusions about a person based solely on it. If we compare a person to a car, for example, the LPI describes its type (truck, passenger car, SUV), giving us an understanding of its primary use. The remaining indicators help determine many equally important characteristics: car make, dimensions, engine power, and so on.
There are nine so-called "basic" LPI indicators—numbers from 1 to 9—and two main or "ruling" numbers—11 and 22. Let's look at how to calculate them and what each number signifies. To calculate your birth date, you need to sequentially add up all the digits that make up your date of birth:
For example: November 21, 1985. Your birth date = 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 5 = 28. We convert the resulting number to a single digit, namely 2 + 8 = 10. This gives us 1. Now you can see the meaning of this number. If your initial summation resulted in 11 or 22, we leave them unchanged.
