This is a fully functional time delay relay circuit designed in Proteus software, based on the popular NE555 timer IC operating in monostable mode. When the push-button switch is pressed, the relay activates and remains ON for a specific time period before turning OFF automatically. The delay time is adjustable by changing the value of capacitor C1, which works together with resistor R2 to control the timing interval.

The circuit also includes an LED indicator to visually show the active state of the relay. It’s ideal for educational purposes, DIY electronics projects, and applications such as automatic light timers, motor controllers, or alarm systems.

🔧 How Timing Works:

The delay time (T) is calculated using the following formula:


T = 1.1*R2*C1


Where:
T : Delay time in seconds
R2 : Resistance in ohms (Ω)
C1 : Capacitance in farads (F)


This flexibility allows users to easily adjust the timing duration based on their project needs by simply replacing the capacitor or using a variable resistor.
