Hunting is one of the 6 Trade Skills in Lost Ark. With this profession we get raw materials that we need to cook buff items like food, a battle item like a flare, and upgrade materials.
▶ 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗛𝗨𝗡𝗧
Hunting is a talent that necessitates precise control since we must strike moving creatures with our "throw". This may appear challenging, but hunting surely adds to the excitement of our excursions. Small game animals, such as rabbits, are commonly found in such areas. Switch to Trade Skill mode and use the Search ability to hunt these animals. This sets a crosshair marking above the heads of all beasts within hunting range. When you've located your target, use the Throw ability and aim your cursor near the animal it means that you need to predict their movement, taking into consideration the brief pause before throwing. A throw deals damage in a modest radius, so you don't have to be extremely precise.
▶ 𝗛𝗢𝗪 𝗧𝗢 𝗨𝗡𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞
To be able to take part in Lost Ark hunting, you will first need to complete the quest called “Crown of Lakebar" in Luterra. Go to West Luterra and you will be able to do the quest. Don’t worry about missing the quest as it will be a part of your main questline. Once you have completed the quest, you will get 6 Trade Skills, of which hunting will be one of them.
Now go to Lakebar Village and chat to Nickel, an NPC, to collect the Novice Hunting Tool. Players must get these tools in order to employ their hunting abilities. You may now hunt down and harvest small animals.
▶ 𝗛𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗩𝗘
As we carry out our professions, we collect experience points and rise to a level with the corresponding number of experience points. As with our character, we unlock new skills. With these skills, we increase bonuses such as:
✅ Higher chance of success
✅ Chance of rare materials
✅ Increased gathering speed
In this profession, there will be 4 phases that you will go through.
1️⃣ Level 1, Throw
Stagger loot with a machete throw. After a given amount of blows, the prey is slowed and faints.
2️⃣ Level 1, Search
Marks all game animals in range with a crosshair above their heads or tags prey to make it easier to spot.
3️⃣ Level 10, Hunter's Eye
While searching, puts a mark on bushes, ore veins, wood, and the ground where loot is hidden. You'll locate your loot if you search the marked location.
4️⃣ Level 20, Set Traps
This allows you to lay down a trap in certain areas. A game animal will be caught and harvested by these tools. While you wait for the traps to fill, you can continue hunting.
5️⃣ Level 30, Track Level
Learn to track prey to its hiding place. It is possible to employ "Tracking Hints" during hunting.
▶ 𝗧𝗜𝗣𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞
If you're having difficulty finding targets, you may utilize the search feature to highlight any wildlife in your neighborhood. As you progress in the skill, trap hunting and tracking become available, allowing you to passively catch prey or utilize tracking clues to identify high-level animal hideouts. Also, instead of running about seeking for animals, you can just stay in one place because those animals will always spawn in the same or close location.
