Looking to maximize space and flexibility in your structured cabling setup? In this video, we demonstrate how to assemble the Cat6A STP Multi-Entry RJ45 Keystone Jack using the left or right cable entry method—perfect for tight spaces, wall boxes, and high-density panels.
The process starts by guiding the grounding wire through the IDC cap, ensuring contact with the rear grounding tab for proper shield continuity. Then, depending on your cable direction, bend down the pre-cut side tab on the jack to open up the left or right entry path. Next, follow the T568A or T568B wiring diagram to arrange the wires and insert them into the IDC slots. Once the wires are aligned, trim the excess conductors, place the IDC cap over the slots, and use the hand tool to press down and secure the connection. Finally, cut off the excess grounding wire to complete the termination.
This versatile RJ45 toolless keystone jack is built for Cat6A shielded cabling, supports PoE++ applications, and speeds up field installations.
