4 Reasons I am NOT a ROMAN Catholic
I’m often asked what "Reformed Catholic" means, and why I’m not a Roman Catholic. After all, I love church history, the creeds, and the early fathers. But there are key issues in the Roman system that can’t be ignored. In this video, I walk through four major reasons why I remain a convinced Protestant:
1️⃣ Supremacy of Scripture – God’s Word, not church tradition, is the final authority.
2️⃣ The Papacy – The claims of universal jurisdiction and infallibility have no firm biblical or historical foundation.
3️⃣ Icon Veneration – The line between honor and idolatry has been dangerously blurred.
4️⃣ Overemphasis on Mary – What began as respect for Mary has become near-deification.
I want to be fair, clear, and grounded in Scripture and history. Reformed Catholicism is not reactionary. It is seeking to hold the Catholic faith without the errors added over the years.
