First 2023 dawless jam with a 303 clone (TD-3) feat. Model D, JP-08 & Model:Samples
Wanted to play with the 303 for a long time because I love it’s iconic sound! So here it is, my first dawless jam/track of the year with the two analog beasts, the Minimoog and 303 clones. The Model D is playing bass and lead lines at the same time. I like to use the first oscillator for bass and the other two to add some lead style sound. By switching on and off the first oscillator I can add or remove the bass so it’s almost like having two instruments at the same time. The TD-3 is playing the bassy lead on top of the Model D. I absolutely love the creamy acid sound of the 303! The JP-08 boutique is playing the melodic pad throughout the entire track. I’m using two Zoom MS-70CDR pedals, one for the Model D and the other for the TD-3. Everything is sequenced with the Model:Samples. I’m using 3 tracks for drum samples and 3 tracks as MIDI sequencers for external synths. Hope you enjoy it and be sure to listen with headphones! Have a great year you all!
