Crazy Mountain Conditions During March Blizzard at Palisades Tahoe
The conditions at Palisades Tahoe were unbelievable during our early March blizzard. While we did get 8 feet of snow (a common occurrence for a resort like ours that regularly receives over 400 inches of snow each season), the wind is what made this weather event stand out. Winds led to extreme whiteout conditions, making it nearly impossible for us to spin chairlifts.
