I'm super excited, today's topic is "mind map software" and I found a couple tools that I was looking for, for the longest time and I thought I'd share them with you.

Think of it as brainstorming 2.0. Remember back in school or in your business meetings when you threw ideas together on a piece of paper with all kinds of bubbles with branches? Well, this is pretty much the same concept except a mind map software tool can help you create that in a digital way.
Through file sharing, it works pretty awesome if you're collaborating with multiple people working on the same project, especially if they are in a different location.
When you are selecting a mind map software think of what's important to you. What I mean is that consider if you want your mind map software downloaded onto your computer, laptop or any other type of steady work station or if you want to have the flexibility to have access to your mind map tool from anywhere in the world; in that case, I would recommend you use an online mind map software.
Also depending on what look and feel you are looking for; a specific mind map software can help you achieve your specific goals.
Ok, let's look at a few mind map software, THIS IS SO FREAKING EXCITING. In this mind map software, after you've created your mind map, with one click of a button you can change the look and feel, the layout, the way it appears, include pictures, export it into a word processing document or vice versa and tons more.
The mind map software will convert your mind map into a full document with headers, sections, page numbers, attachments, etc.. This is SOOOO FREAKING AWESOME! This one is a downloadable mind map software desktop application called MindView 5 by MatchWare. This is a super cool business tool, especially for creating products; it looks clean, slick and professional.
If you are more of an artist, appreciate fancy art designs and like shocking your audience amazing colorful visuals, then perhaps a traditional mind map software is a little bit too dull looking, boring or not creative enough, then IMindMap by ThinkBuzan is probably just what you're looking for.
Every aspects are customizable, you can even hand draw on the actual map and use it as an image. One of the coolest looking features is the 3D view of your map. Now that'll get your audience's attention.
Warning! The one thing I would caution you about this amazing software is that you don't lose yourself with all the creative options you have. This could be a time distraction and take you away from creating content. Remember at the end of the day, if you're in business, it's to provide valuable information to your audience. So your time should be well balanced between your 2 workloads.
Another mind map software that is less powerful than the downloadable software but is available online is Wisemapping.com. It looks slick, there are expandable and collapsible menus, the space in between the new ideas automatically re-arranges itself to look neat and clean and most important part is that it's very easy and simple to use. Sometimes simplicity works better.
Finally, last but not least is Bubbl.us. This one is also web based, you can move each bubbles individually, put images in there, is simple to use and looks great.
