In this video, I'll go over how to easily install and uninstall WordPress plugins as well as how to find what you're looking for. The WordPress repository has over 60,000 plugins in its repository to choose from. There's a good chance you'll find something to add a bit of something extra to your blog.
I also show the first seven plugins I'm installing into this new blog and what features they offer. These are the default plugins that I often fall back on regardless of the site I'm building. They include:
Wordfence
Yoast SEO
Site Kit by Google
Broken Link Checker
wpDiscuz
StarBox
Jetpack
You don't have to use these plugins to launch your blog. They are just the ones I find to be the most useful regardless of the site's niche or topical content.
I also deliver some words of advice when it comes to your plugins. This comes from using WordPress for well over a decade and based on my experience using the platform for myself as well as most of my clients.
