A spring day at the Bloedel Reserve pond with friends and family
The Bloedel Reserve on Bainbridge Island, just across from Seattle, is a beautiful greenspace and private collection of gardens. While it's not organized and toured like the Butchart Gardens of Victoria, it's just as amazing to tour and offers a completely different experience from other gardens you might find. The Bloedel Reserve includes several ponds, a waterfall, moss garden, natural forests, landscaped grounds, a meadow, Japanese garden, zen garden and incredible views of the Puget Sound. It's so cool that we bought an annual membership upon our first visit!
