This YouTube video will explain how to size gas piping using the longest length method, aka longest run method. You will need a copy of the International Fuel Gas Code book to size gas piping. There are several different tables in the IFGC book pertaining to gas pipe sizing, depending on the pressure drop, type of gas, type of pipe material and gas pressure, etc.
