2027 Kia Niro Refresh: Flagship Tech in a Hybrid Crossover
The 2027 Kia Niro gets its biggest update since launch — and most of it is under the surface.
New for 2027: a panoramic curved display (12.3" touchscreen + optional 12.3" digital cluster), Kia's new ccNC infotainment with OTA updates, and a voice-activated AI assistant ("Hey, Kia"). The ADAS suite expands too — Forward Collision Avoidance now covers junction turning and cyclist detection, Lane Following Assist 2 adds Hands-on-Detection, and the SX Touring trim gets a 360° Surround View Monitor plus Highway Drive Assist 2.
Powertrain stays hybrid-only: a 1.6L four-cylinder paired with an electric motor for a combined 139 hp through a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission, with retuned suspension for a quieter, smoother ride.
New trim: the Niro S joins LX, EX, and SX. New colors: Ivory Silver and Sunset Beige.
