Photoshop Shortcuts: Change Brush Opacity & Flow with the Keyboard
Changing brush opacity and flow in Photoshop doesn't have to mean reaching for the toolbar every time.
In this quick Photoshop shortcut, I show you how to adjust both Brush Opacity and Brush Flow directly from the keyboard so you can work faster.
With the Brush Tool active:
• Number keys change Brush Opacity
• Shift + Number changes Brush Flow
• Enter two numbers quickly to set a specific percentage
It's a small shortcut, but if you're constantly changing brush strength while dodging and burning, masking, or retouching, it can save a surprising amount of time.
