Imagine the pineal gland as a radio receiver. It's a tiny gland located between the back of your throat and the back of your head. The main function of the pineal gland in normal three-dimensional reality is to produce two neurotransmitters called serotonin and melatonin.
Most people's thoughts are connected to specific feelings that affect specific hormonal centers in the body. For example, if you think about anger, certain chemical substances are released that activate your adrenal system, triggering survival systems. If you feel suffering, pain, or guilt, you evoke another biochemical reaction, activating other hormonal centers. Thus, most thoughts and feelings of people absorb most of the energy of these thoughts and store them in the first three energy centers of the body, called chakras. The first three centers are survival, reproduction, consumption, and fight-or-flight reaction centers, and most people are in that state.
