See what life looks like in Manhattan after work on this NYC 4K walking tour through the Upper West Side, from Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center to Riverside Park and the Hudson River.
Beginning beside Central Park at Columbus Circle at 5:26 PM on a Friday, the walk follows New York as the workweek gives way to the evening. We head north through Lincoln Square and Lincoln Center before returning to Broadway, passing Apple Upper West Side, the historic Dorilton, Verdi Square and the 72nd Street subway station.
The route continues along Amsterdam Avenue, where busy sidewalks, neighborhood cafés, restaurants and historic architecture capture the Upper West Side after work. After passing the Lucerne Hotel and West-Park Presbyterian Church, we cross West 86th Street and walk through the residential blocks around West 90th Street toward Riverside Park.
The final section enters the quieter side of Manhattan, passing the beautiful 91st Street Garden—featured in the film “You’ve Got Mail”—before ending beside the Hudson River with views toward New Jersey. Sixty-one minutes of real Friday evening life in Manhattan, all in 4K with no narration—just authentic New York City sounds.
