Sampling. MPC. Making a beat!
Firing up the MPC 2500 and making a beat from scratch. I was going to use a smooth Jazz sample but I didn't like how it turned out, so instead I grabbed something from an old movie.
I was always using JJOSXL but then I switched to JJOS-OS3, which was great but there's just something about JJOSXL that makes it perfect, so I went back. XL just feels better when I'm sampling, chopping - the whole beat making experience.

3:58 - Getting some horns
5:18 - Bassline
6:29 - Last few touches
7:46 - Final beat!
