👉 Google One VPN Review - In this video I take a look at various reports about Google One's VPN with regards to Privacy and Functionality.
How's it going, everybody? Welcome back. And today we're going to be taking a look at Google ones VPN or the VPN by Google, which essentially just comes with the cloud storage service. Google one, it is available in a few countries, which is why I don't have access to it, even though I don't even though I do have a subscription with Google one, the cloud storage service, so it's only available in the states as well as Mexico, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy. Google One VPN Now, as a service itself, according to the reports I've been looking at, it's not exactly the VPN or the traditional VPN that you would expect, such as, for example, ExpressVPN, or Nord VPN, or cyberghost, or any of the popular VPN that well do much more than what Google one can do, or Google one little ones VPN can do. So when it comes to, let's say, streaming, and Netflix, and unblocking streaming services, it doesn't seem like this VPN can do that. Google One VPN According to all the reports. It's only available on Android. As far as using this VPN, it seems like it's really just useful for bypassing geo restrictions as well not g restriction and bypassing censorship, excuse me, if you're in a censorship heavy countries, such as China, so it helps you bypass the Great Firewall of China. I'm not exactly sure how that's going to work and like what kind of obfuscation they're using. You can also use it to shield your data from public want in public Wi Fi, while using public public Wi Fi, of course, it's very dangerous to use your phone, let's say we're using a public Wi Fi, because you could easily compromised your information, especially if you're accessing banking information. So that's one reason you can use it. Google One VPN And perhaps just to hide your IP address while browsing so I think this is the strongest, I guess selling point of Google ones vdn. Besides that, it Yeah, I don't think it can really do much. So of course, we don't have too much information. Because not everyone has been able to kind of test it out, I haven't been able to test it out. It's not available to me not yet at least. So hopefully, it'll release worldwide very soon, we'll be able to actually test it. But so far as a standalone VPN, I don't think it's really worth it. But again, in this video, we're just looking into the privacy aspects. So let's take a look at the white paper here. Very quickly.
