The second full length album from Lord Valtgryftåke’s Ründgard project is another elemental conjuration of primeval, subterranean energies, manifested through claustrophobic, diabolical darkly melodic black metal.
Impresario of the arcane Mahamvantara Arts Records, keystone of the Valdivian Black Circle, and the omniscient fabric of the Pure Raw Underground Black Metal Plague, Valtgryftåke is one of the most consistent and commanding presences in modern black metal. Ulvmonddomānen is yet another malefic demonstration of his mythic potency.
The album is released in collaboration between Mahamvantara in the humid South, and Inferna Profundus in the frozen North, manifested in multiple vinyl formats, CD and digital.
