Video 3: How to Make a Simple Map of Orangutan Survey Results
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Video 3 is a continuation of the previous video and the last video on this material.
The editing process of the four field data has been completed, it's time for us to do the layout-ing so that a map can be produced.
We will use a map template, so there is no need to do any layout preparation. Changes can still be made, for example to change the scale, map title, change the logo image, change the notes/map base, change the legend, and so on as needed.
Next we will save the project and export the project to a map in (.jpg) or (.pdf) format. In this video, we will export maps in (.pdf) format. This format was chosen so that the map can be used as a work map in the future by using an application, namely Avenza Maps.
This video is used for the needs of delivering material in inhouse training.
