The big story this week is not a good one; Atlus has confirmed the cancellation of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim for Vita, only leaving the PS4 version to release at an undetermined time.
PQube has confirmed that they are no longer releasing Vita titles, saying that the digital-only marketplace for Vita is not viable for business anymore. That combined with the loss of money on Omega Labyrinth Z's localization cancellation probably didn't go well for their wallets, let's be honest.
Two pieces of physical release news. Strictly Limited Games' version of Sayonara Umihara Kawase Plus will release on the 18th of November. And Race the Sun is getting a Limited Run Games release on the 23rd of November.
Darkest Dungeon got two pieces of DLC this week - The Color of Madness expansion, with new area, bosses and enemies, and more, came out for $5, and a character class, The Musketeer, is available for free. A patch released alongside the game.
One more piece of patch news this week - Revenge of the Bird King got a patch to fix the inventory being emptied at random.
A couple of dates to round out the week - Mecho Wars: Desert Ashes releases on the 20th of November. Battle Princess Madelyn will release on Vita sometime in 2019. And Slayaway Camp was dated for the 15th in The Drop this week, but it does not seem to have released as of this writing. That's it for this week.
Well, I guess it's time. I said it was going to happen some time this year, and with the news of PQube's departure and 13 Sentinel's cancellation, I think it's time to call the Vita Weekly Update to an end. Three hundred and thirty one updates is a lot of weeks, it's amazing it made it this far, but I'd rather stop before the news becomes complete dripfeed. For those people who are wondering what might be happening now; I have an idea for a new weekly series that I want to start next week. We'll see how well that works.
