The 12 Longest Super Nintendo Games (According to HowLongToBeat)
I wondered if I could find out what the longest SNES games are. So I delved into HowLongToBeat.com and tried to come up with an objective list of the 12 SNES games that take the longest to complete.
I based the list on the Main Story metric, as nearly every game has this metric and it is the fairest comparison. If a game had a 50h storyline, it would lose out to a game that is only 11 hours long and features 40 additional hours of collectible hunting.
Additionally, I only looked at the SNES average for Main Story as various ports can have different play lengths. Finally, I limited myself to games that had 10 or more recordings on HowLongToBeat. Fewer than that the average might not be very representative of the average player.
Now that that is out of the way, let's take a look at the 12 longest Super Nintendo games.

1:43 - Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War

These games would've been on this list had they had 10 or more recorded playthroughs on HowLongToBeat for the SNES platform. These are less popular games, so sadly they didn't have enough data.
